 Beauty Of  The Village.

            My village is Godakawela, situated in the Rathnapura District. This is a village at the foot of the Rakwana Mountains🌄. Rakwana river flows through the middle of the village and joins the Walawe river. 

There are various ethnic groups living in my village. Such as Sinhalese, Tamils and Muslims. They all live as one family👪. Furthermore, my village is very famous for gems💎💎. Also, it has many attractive place like waterfalls, historical sites, limestone cave, Sinharaja forest and so on🌊.

In addition, it receives rainfall throughout the year🌧🌧. This creates fertile soil for cultivation. Therefore, tea, rubber, coconut, paddy, cinnamon, pepper and vegetables are successfully grown in our area🌳🌴🌳. So my village is a beautiful and fertile village with a suitable living environment💓💓.
